What is special about RTT?
I often get asked about Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and how it can tackle some of the annoying limiting beliefs that can hold us back in life. With this blog my aim is to explain the transformative effects of RTT and explore how it liberates people from the shackles of limiting beliefs, paving the way for a life of more success, fulfilment and possibility.
The Power of Limiting Beliefs:
Our minds are like gardens, fertile grounds where beliefs take root and shape our reality. Unfortunately, not all beliefs serve us well. Limiting beliefs, often formed through the past (often back to childhood experiences) and also societal conditioning, act as invisible barriers that hold us back from reaching our true potential. They whisper doubt, fear, and self-sabotage, hindering our progress and limiting our possibilities. I sometimes compare limiting beliefs to an invisible handbrake in a car. We try to move forwards, to drive to where we want to go, but the invisible handbrake slows us down and blocks us from getting anywhere.
Identifying Common Limiting Beliefs:
Here are some common limiting beliefs that I come across in my work with clients:
1. "I am not worthy of success." This belief stems from feelings of inadequacy or a lack of self-esteem, leading people to undermine their own abilities and shy away from opportunities.
2. "Money is the root of all evil." This belief instills a deep-seated fear or guilt surrounding wealth, preventing people from pursuing financial abundance and enjoying the fruits of their labor.
3. "I'm not talented enough." This belief convinces us that we lack the inherent abilities necessary to excel in our chosen fields, discouraging us from fully pursuing our passions.
4. "I am unlovable." This belief originates from past relationships or experiences that left individuals feeling unworthy of love, hindering their ability to form healthy connections and find happiness.
The RTT Approach:
Rapid Transformational Therapy, developed by renowned therapist Marisa Peer, offers a powerful antidote to these limiting beliefs. It combines elements of hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to rewire the mind and replace self-defeating beliefs with empowering ones.
1. Digging Deep: Through regression techniques, RTT helps clients uncover the root causes of their limiting beliefs. By revisiting past experiences or events, clients gain insights into the origin of these beliefs and understand how they have shaped their present mindset.
2. Reframing and Releasing: Once the underlying causes are identified, RTT empowers individuals to reframe their beliefs and perceptions. Through guided hypnosis, clients are encouraged to challenge and replace limiting beliefs with positive and empowering ones.
3. Reprogramming for Success: RTT employs powerful affirmations, visualizations, and suggestions to rewire the subconscious mind for success. By consistently reinforcing new empowering beliefs, clients can create a fertile ground for personal growth and achievement.
Success Stories:
Here are just a couple of examples of people who have experienced the transformative power of RTT:
1. Sarah, a talented writer paralyzed by self-doubt, underwent RTT and reprogrammed her belief from "I'm not talented enough" to "My creativity knows no bounds." As a result, she published her first novel and unlocked her true potential as a writer.
2. Mark, burdened by a lifelong belief of unworthiness, embraced the RTT process and replaced his belief from "I am unlovable" to "I am deserving of love and connection." This newfound confidence empowered him to build meaningful relationships and live a life filled with more joy and love.
The Effectiveness of RTT:
The reason I love this therapy so much is that RTT stands as a beacon of hope, guiding us towards a life that is more liberated from limiting beliefs. By acknowledging and challenging these beliefs, we can reframe our minds, unlock our true potential, and manifest a future brimming with much more success, happiness, and fulfilment and healthy connection with others.
RTT is included in our Retreats:
I have included RTT with our Self-Love Empowerment retreats for women. The feedback speaks for itself. Here is what a previous client /guest said about her experience of both RTT and the retreat as a package together:
Healing from Childhood Trauma:
"The RTT experience is a wonderfully powerful and effective therapy. For me, it felt like a deep cleanse inside, letting go of old, unhelpful stuff. I first noticed a change after a couple of days. I was feeling more confident to communicate my needs more clearly.
I feel a lot more peaceful and calm. I feel I have all of myself back together again in a complete whole that I am really honouring and appreciating. I feel I have a beautiful loving and supportive relationship with myself now. I am able to partner myself, give and receive support simultaneously. It is very empowering.

I would certainly recommend Becca's RTT programmes to everyone! Becca is so soft, compassionate and on the issue. It is both practical and gentle. I am most grateful for this amazing healing experience with Becca. The retreat was a real bonus with lots of wonderful therapies and very tasty food, being spoilt to the maximum."
